A Morning of Mindfulness (mini-retreat)
19 October, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
‘Exactly what I needed’
‘A perfect reminder that I can use my attention to look after myself’
‘A chance to unwind and connect with myself, something I have not done for a long time’
This is how previous participants have described the Morning of Mindfulness, where you get the chance to immerse yourself in a range of mindfulness practices to leave you
- feeling rested and restored,
- able to focus more easily on what’s important, and
- reminded of your own capacity to let go of unnecessary stress and tension so you can live more lightly.
Who is this for?
Whether you’re a beginner to meditation or would like to refresh or deepen your practice, this secular mini-retreat is for you.
What will we be doing?
We’ll be practising a range of brief meditations you can take into the home or workplace. Everything we’ll do can all be adapted, and you won’t need to get into weird or uncomfortable postures.
Self-care is essential, and whilst you will be encouraged to venture beyond your comfort zone, you will also asked to put your health and wellbeing ahead of anything else.
There will be time for reflection and a little optional discussion.
What do I need to bring?
You might want to bring a yoga mat or towel to lie on, any meditation equipment you might have, and a bottle of water.
Herbal tea will be provided.
Cancellations, Refunds and Transfers
You may cancel and receive a refund up to seven days before the workshop. You’re always welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else.
Whatever you usually do on a Saturday morning, how much does it nourish you?
I lead mindfulness courses, workshops and retreats for groups on the NSW mid-north coast (Coffs Harbour & Bellingen area), and sometimes further afield.
